Can SKO install my new kitchen?

SKO operates an approved installer scheme. All our approved installers are vetted for quality of work, technical knowledge and professionalism – most of whom have been fitting for SKO for many years. The main advantage of using SKO approved fitters are that we do not profit from installation. SKO will charge an administration fee OF £250+VAT which covers the cost of operating the approved installer scheme. All of the cost of installation goes directly to our local tradesman, saving our customers thousands of pounds. When using our approved installer scheme our customers benefit from an additional 5 years Cabinet and component warranty, this is in addition to the standard warranty given on whichever range you have chosen. SKO will also guarantee the workmanship on the installation of any product supplied by SKO.

Are SKO's cabinets flatpack / self assembly?

No – nearly all of our units are delivered pre-assembled (rigid built)at our factory. The only exception are L Shaped corned based units and wardrobes, this is because these cabinets would be too large to fit through doorways, stairways, etc.

Why is SKO different to mainstream kitchen suppliers?

The main differences between SKO and the majority of our competition are, SKO Cabinets can be manufactured in any one of 30 different Cabinet Colours and Finishes. This allows our customers to pick a cabinet colour to suite or contract your chosen door style. All our cabinets also have solid 18mm rear panels, these panels are machined into the rest of the cabinet rather than slotted into a groove at the back of the unit. This keeps your kitchen cabinets square for life and also ensures all your cupboard doors stay in line for the lifetime of the kitchen. This adds to the length of time your new SKO kitchen will keep that showroom / brand new look for many years to come.

SKO also use the highest grade funiture board available, and high quality German manufactured soft close hinges and drawer systems.
